Solar Space Heating System

Description:    15m² On-roof Flat Plate Solar Space & Hot Water Heating System; -

This installation is on a complete re-build of a house in Salthill, Galway.

The project consists of the installation of a 15m² On-roof Flat Plate Solar Space Heating System with a 1000 litre buffer tank providing space heating through an under floor heating system and hot water through a direct heating plate heat exchanger.

Due to space restrictions the client chose to install an oil boiler instead of a wood pellet boiler but wanted to reduce oil consumption by having the solar panels provide heat to the under floor heating system as well as satisfying their hot water needs.
